For as long as I can remember, art has been the quiet thread running through my life, the place where imagination opens, time softens, and the world feels just a little more magical. I’ve explored many creative paths over the years, but my hand-drawn coloring books are where all those threads finally came together.
I grew up on a small horse ranch in southern Oregon with a pencil always close by, sketching animals, landscapes, and anything that sparked my curiosity. That early love for drawing stayed with me into adulthood and eventually shaped my professional path in residential design, where I spent many years crafting homes with an artist’s eye for detail, form, and storytelling.
But the spark that led to Rogue Clover Press arrived in the sweetest way, with the birth of my granddaughter. Wanting to create something meaningful, calming, and whimsical for her, I picked up my pens again…and didn’t put them down. One page turned into a series, and one series grew into a full collection of hand-drawn coloring books inspired by nature, memory, and the simple joy of slowing down.
My work blends pen & ink detail, soft textures, and gentle storytelling. Every page is drawn by hand, no digital shortcuts, to give each illustration a warmth and authenticity that can be felt while coloring. Whether the drawings are playful, peaceful, festive, or nostalgic, my goal is always the same: to create a quiet space for creativity, mindfulness, and delight.
Today, Rogue Clover Press is a small but heartfelt creative studio offering coloring books designed to be both relaxing and deeply personal, a place where art meets calm, and imagination can take its time.
Thank you for sharing in this journey and bringing these drawings to life with your own colors.
